I made up a strawberry mix to make cupcakes. When I put the cake mix in the cupcake tins I added a little cube of softened cream cheese in the middle and smashed it down so it would cook over it. I didn't add preserves to it but i should have added a little spoonful of strawberry jam to it would have been so much better!
let it cook and then make homemade cream cheese frosting. a box of cream cheese, little milk, little vanilla and 4 cups of powdered sugar.
then frost the cup cakes and add a fresh strawberry
