Best cookies ever!!

Seriously, they are the best!! Wanna know the best part?? It can be what ever kind of cookie you feel like making that night and they will absolutely be the best you've ever had!! Why, you might ask. Well because I figured out an awesome way to cook them. Instead of cooking the cookies at 350 or 375, cook them at 425 and take out the cookies when the top and bottom are turning brown (all over brown). The cookies only cook for maybe 10 mins. but keep a close eye on them because depending on how big or small you cookies are will affect the cooking time. When you take the cookies out they will kinda look raw in the middle (that the best) so let them sit on top of the stove still on the cookie sheet for a couple more mins until you see that they have fallen and doesn't have that raw look to them any longer. When eating the cookie you will find that they not only super soft in the middle but crunchy on the outside. Just like a bakery has them...maybe that's how they make theirs?! I've even taken the test and left the cookies out all night...next day still soft in the middle. Is there anything better than soft but crunchy cookies?!!

danae's recipe for lasagna

So I just took some recipes from different lasagna ones and made my own. I've got it in the fridge waiting to get cooked up tonight. Hopefully I've done something good for dinner, but I will let you know. I found a recipe for a slow cooker 3 cheese lasagna and wanted to make that in the crock pot. But I went to get my crock pot and found that it was cracked from the bottom to the top. A few tears where almost shed over this...i love cooking from a crock pot!! but oh well I might have come up with a good recipe that I wouldn't have done if it wasn't cracked. So.... here's what I did.

oven ready lasagna noodles
bag of frozen mixed veggies
shredded cheese

bowl #1
can of progresso cheese chicken enchilada soup
2 cans of cream of chicken
cup of water
a little bit of shredded chicken (already has chicken from soups)

bowl #2
2- 8ozcream cheese-onion and chive kind
2 eggs
a handful of Parmesan cheese

OK so I sprayed the cake pan, put a little of bowl 1 on the bottom, put noodles on bottom. Top noodles with bowl 2 spread thinly, handful of veggies, chicken and top with bowl 1. Then repeat with noodles until no more (about 3 layers). With the last noodles on top, spread with bowl 2, rest of shredded chicken, then top with bowl 1 and finally top with shredded cheese and pat down making sure all noodles are flat and covered!!

Side note....

I try not to salt any of my food I cook, so when I don't say anything about salt and peppering food. It's because I don't but go ahead and season away it will taste better that way!! Trust me I salt what is on my plate. It's easier to add salt than to take it away!!

Chili Cheese Hot dogs

Cook your hot dogs either boiled or on a grill. warm up your favorite chili (I use Hormel). Warm up your buns and then put your hot dog in it and top with the chili, sprinkle with cheese and sour cream.

Slow Cooker lasagna

haven't tried this one will add recipe later

Sheperd's Pie

In a cake pan spray with cooking oil, bottom layer will be mashed potatoes, beef mixture and top with cheese bake at 350 until bubbly and cheese is crispy. (You can also put the mash potatoes on top of the beef mixture if desired)

Beef mixture- cook hamburger until done ( I never drain hamburger grease unless its ridiculous amount). Add a can of  tomato sauce, a little hot sauce (if you want spicy flavor). Add a can of corn or green bean and mix.

Chicken Haystacks

Cook rice as directed (make as much as you need for your family). Cook chicken breasts so it can be shredded or use canned chicken. Then add cream of chicken and a little cream cheese to your cooked shredded chicken (if it's to thick add a little milk). Plate up your rice put chicken mixter over your rice and top with cheese and the fried onion string things (can't remember their name). If you want to add a little flavor add green chile to your chicken mixture.

Corn Beef Hash

Slice potatoes into bit size pieces,  cook in pan with butter until tender. Add a can of corn beef and a couple of eggs, cook until the corn beef is cooked (it will turn a little darker)  and eggs are fully cooked, while stirring so your potatoes and corn beef doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. Serve with a tortilla and sour cream!

Taco's

Easy Enchilada's

Tried making easy enchilada's from a recipe that was on an enchilada sauce can. It was not very good and to salty. Was told by my 6 yr old that it tasted like chief  boyardi...so yeah not a very good compliment! In case you like tomato-ie enchiladas then this is the dinner for you. Cook up your hamburger (how ever much you need for your family) once cooked add a handful of cheese and about 3/4 cup of enchilada sauce (I used old El paso). Spray your cooking pan, preheat oven to 375. Warm up your flour tortillas and add your mixture in and roll up and put in your pan. If you need to layer your rolled up burritos then add some cheese and enchilada sauce on top and continue with your rolling of tortillas and beef mixture once done with as many burritos as you need or can make. Then pour on the rest of your sauce and a little cheese and bake until bubbly. If you want serve with sour cream!
Getting tired of regular spaghetti? Try adding 4 oz of cream cheese to your hamburger and spaghetti sauce and mix it up until all the cream cheese is mixed in. Then add your noodles to your mixture sprinkle with some Parmesan cheese and serve! No need for shredded cheddar cheese...its already cheesy and creamy!
